firewall problem

    so i am trying to hook up my wii to the internet and it gives me error code 52130 which is an apparent firewall problem. I have no idea what to do and i think i must be doin something wrong. what should i do??

    okay so helpful information here would be....

    what wifi router are you using, if any?

    what firewall software are you using, if any?

    1.if you are using windows xp go to start
    2.then go to connect to.
    3.then go to show all connections.
    4.after that go to a connection.(i used wirless connection.)
    5.right click.
    6.go to properties.
    7.go to advanced.
    8.then go to setting.
    9.after that turn off all fire walls.
    it will say not recommended but it will let your wii online.

    that is what i did for my wii.hope this helps.

    I had the same problem. For me it wasn't the firwall though. my problem was that i was broadcasting on ch. 6. nintendo's website says that you should broadcast on 1 or 11. maybe it is the same problem for you. hope this helps
