Can anyone tell me what the latest firmware for a HL-DT-ST DVD-RW GWA-4040B drive is? I have looked around and havent seemed to be able to find much info on this drive. I would just REALLY like to be able to burn my DVD's at more then 2x. Mabey at least 4x. If anyone can help me with any info on this drive that would be cool. Thanks.
Check this site out. They usually have most info on firmware thats up to date. http://www.rpc1.com. Just type your model in the search block once there. Jerry
ok thanks for the link Jerry746. Now i have another question. On that page you showed me there an upgrade for an HL-DT-ST DVD-RW GSA-4040B, mine is a HL-DT-ST DVD-RW GWA-4040B. now what has me wondering if the GSA update will work on my GWA is the names of the updates the revision i have on my GWA-4040B is A112. Now on that site they have an update for the GSA-4040B thats named A114. So im really wondering if its an update for my drive also. Any idear?
