Just bought the 700a (unfortunately before I found this forum). Haven't installed it yet but I know I will not be able to resist update of firmware immediately. Saw a thread that f/w is same as a Liteon. Question is, is there any advantage to using the Liteon f/w eg mp3 ripping speed and if so do you use the Sony or Liteon flashing instructions as they are radically different. Hope this isn't a lame question Mr Moderator sir, your honour.
