Firmware update for WiiKey HELP!

    Can someone help me how can I update my WiiKey firmware.
    How do I check wich firmware do I have? One more thing how do I get to the menu to change the DVD drive speed to 2x.
    I had someone install the WiiKey for me so I dont know how to check it. I dont even know how to go to the main menu if their is one.

    To get into the menu of the wiikey you need to download the startup disk here:

    http://www.wiikey.cn/

    and burn the V1.2 iso file for your wii region.

    As for the firmware, there is no new firmware out for the wiikey yet.

    how do I burn it? I see a lot of files in the config 1.2 folder. Do I just drop them on a CD-rom. How do I make the image disc?

    Did the wiikey team give a final release date for the new firmware???

    You need to click on the BootableDisc.bat file corresponding to your Wii Region.

    PAL = BootableDisc_PAL.bat

    NTSC(J) = BootableDisc_JAP.bat

    NTSC(U) = BootableDisc_US.bat

    It will then make a bootbale setup disc image for you to burn onto a DVD.
