firmware update

i have a eurobox 2008,and live in dublin
i have tried to flash the box wit the beta2 firmware
but i get the message firmware not suitable wit this box
system information is
Model Dvb-xc box tda
s/w ver 1.0 stc4 jun 28 2007
hw/ ver 2.otk5
bootstrap v002
can anybody please advise?

 

The KURO firmware is only for the Max V 2008

What colour package was your Eurov0x in ? Red or Blue

i got the box from a friend no packageing
but i will try to fiend so info re colour

and have successfully updated the firmware
