I've ripped to hard drive with dvd-shrink and am trying to burn to DVD - or + doesn;'t matter. It won't burn with Nero 6.6. Do I create an image? If so how to burn it? This shouldn't be this difficult. I figured the hard part would be getting it to hard drive, but that was easy. Oh, IBM Thinkpad, G41, 3.33MHz, 512Ram, 80GB, Nvidia w/128Meg, 8x DVD +-,...... it's definitely not the equipment! I'm confused, please help. -Bill
Make sure you have "Burn with Nero" checked in the DVD Shrink preferences. If you do Nero should automatically burn the dvd.
Hi wmitchell, Did you read any of the guides for using Shrink? If you haven't I would suggest that you do. Just click on the guides tab and find Shrink. You can usually sort out all your problems by doing a little reading here in the forums. Goodluck, HW.

I have the same problem with my identical burner (elitegroup green 550 mod). I complained and I got a new one, but after a while the problem ocuured again. Later on it work again mysteriously. I have not found a pattern i why, but try restart, unplugg the usb etc wires, uninstall Nero and install again, gently clean the laser head with a reading glases rag, try to get the dvd-burner to acept the dvd by repeatingly eject and insert again. This appers only to work temperarly, so you shold get it fixed by proffesionals
