fixing video quality??

    hi,
    i was wondering...
    i donwload a lot of movies and sometimes the picture quality isnt really good, is there a program that will fix it or make it better?

    No. The video quality can only worsen or remain equal; it cannot get better.

    You can sometimes improve the LOOK of the video, by applying filters in something like virtualdub.
    Crop it to remove the added black boxes.
    Sharpen to improve outlines.
    Levels to improve contrast and brightness.
    HSV to improve colour.
    The list goes on.
    I could show you some pretty crappy downloads that I've made into DVD, and don't look half bad if you take the time :D

    what program would you recommend for doing all of that rebootman?

    um...didn't I say Virtualdub? ;)
    If your source is mpg, get Virtualdubmod.
    If you're serious about doing this, then you should learn how to frameserve as well.
