Thanks for the link LOCOENG, I never even realized that Afterdawn hosted that fine piece of software.

Just a quick update anyone who is also going to download this software from Afterdawn, make sure you select "Server 2" as your download source as Server 1 has removed it from their site.

Server 1 was probably just a mirror from the mother site videohelp.com

The program should probably still be available for some time, just not on the host site and because it is basically just an authring tool and doesn't actually contain a ripper or decrypter. I don't think there will be as big of a scare of downloading this one as the last one that bit the dust.

This is a very disturbing trend that IMO will only get worse. I believe the source code for FixVTS was available for download before the site was taken down.

Making future Freeware tools open source or at least shared source between multiple developers may be the only hope for continuing development. The powers to be seem to be getting very aggressive with there strong armed tactics against certain forums and developers.

I can't believe my eyes. I never would have thought that they would go after such small tools--very handy tools I might add. Pretty soon they'll be taking down Folder2Iso and coverxp. I just wish there was less mystery involved in this whole thing. One program after another taken down with no particular explanation in most cases. Well, in any case I'm glad I keep back up of all the programs I use and the way things have been as of late I'd advise everyone else to do the same.

at this point I believe they are going to go after every dvd backup program out there before it's all said and done...Make them all open source, that's not illegal is it??? This is just my opinion...Ive said it before and I will say it again jeanl ur an awesome dude....:)
