I have downloaded a FLAC file which the PC tells me is 33Mb. But when i load the file into AUDACITY and listen to it, it sounds like just a short burst of data ie lots of buzzes, literally about 1 second long, The download took a long time, as i would expect a file of 33Mb to, but it appears in audacity as i have said. Anyone offer any advice or is that download wasted.....................cheers

You must make sure that audacity can play Flac files by going into options and file types. Winamp should play them fine - again you must allow the file type. Of course if you downloaded the file from an iffy p2p site then what you might have is just a dud file.
