    CFW: LT-sammy-v1.9
    Dashboard: 2.0.13146.0

Anybody here have the same setup & successfully flash to LT 2.0?
Did you flash to stock first?
What was your technique & did u chk any of the XGD3 games?

I'm thinking bout going to FW tool 32 tab & Loading Source FW (Stock)...
Then open target FW (LT 2.0)& spoof target to source...
    Sounds good?

no need to flash to stock. go to the 3rd tab, do sammy unlock, read so youll have your sammy key, then move to the first tab, open target FW as sammsung LT 2.0 and press the spoof button to copy the key. then go back to the 3rd tab and press write.
make sure you have the right key! if you have it allready on your computer you dont have to read it, you can just pick it up in the first tab.

id did couple of sammsung's worked fine.
dont forget you need the dvd key!!!
if you write the drive without the correct key your xbox is a gonner!

also in JF there is a directory with PDF that explains it all with pic.
    much easyer.

    Thanks for the response...
I tend to over analyze before i flash a drive. I did it
once before successfully and one failed.
Just want to find the safest way to do it.

You would perhaps have been better to flash to stock first as you're not on the latest dashboard. Some people have run into issues trying to update their dash when their 360 is flashed with custom firmware, which is why it's recommended to flash back to stock first.

So if you're on the latest dash and just need to update your firmware, don't bother flashing back to stock - just update the firmware to the latest LT+.

If you're not on the latest dash, flash back to stock first, update your dashboard to the latest version, then flash your drive with the latest LT+. The only reason not to do this is if you deliberately want to stay on an older dashboard version, but there isn't really any good reason to do this as some games will force a dashboard update on you anyway - either that or you just can't play them.

That is sound advice. But I have learned in the past to not
update unless you absolutely have to. Maybe I'm being to cautious.
All the newest protections in the newer FW's have been cracked in
    the past.

That's not bad advice, but then at the same time, if it's known that the latest dashboard is safe in combination with the latest LT+ then I see no reason not to update. The only thing to avoid really is rushing into installing a brand new dashboard before the people in the know have analysed it to see if it adds new security measures.

If you try and play a game that has a newer dashboard on the disc than 2.0.13146.0, you will be prompted to update the dashboard. Either that or you can't play the game.

Your right FSB...Just made a backup of spiderman, although it's not XGD3, it
    requires a dashboard update...
