    What do you guys recommend?

I am new to this whole thing, so i gotta a few questions if u dont mind.

What else do i need, beside the flip top/slide card and swap discs to get this working?(i already got gameshark... anything else?)

What type of dvd media are people having the most success with?

How about downloaded ps 2 games?
(i'll remove this question if its against the rules)
Do they work aswell as regular backups?

Where should i purchase it from?
Any suggestions?I am aware of some of the sites ,i'd just like to know which one of them is the safest and most reliable store.Thx in advance.

1.if you need to keep your warranty intact then it's the slide card but i find the fliptop easier to use
2.you might need cd/dvd loader to help with some problem games check out http://www.swapmagicfix.com for a list of problem games(don't know if you will need it for all games listed if you get swapmagic 3.3)
3.the most recomended media used are ritek, fuji, tdk and verbatim
4.some downloaded games work fine some downloads are just a pile of s**t, you take a chance and you get what you get
5 can't help with were to get one from as i get my stuff localy
