All right the Enterprise is rocketing along at several million miles an hour when Captain Picard says all stop, How would you know that you have come to a complete stop with no referance points?

The little flag on the radio antenna stops flapping in the wind?

The black carboard with tiny holes that are supposed to be stars stops? BTW in the 24th century, don't you think there would be a cure for baldness?

LOL baabaa and Bitcount! I needed a good chuckle while the coffee begins to kick in :)

One would hope there would be a cure for baldness in the 24th century although Picard's still got the Kojak motif. I actually prefer it. The chicks love rubbing my head ;)

Cheers baabaa :) Be forewarned that it migrates from your head to your back. Mine went 7 years ago at the tender age of 24 :( At least I have nicely shaped head tho.
I've seen some with weird pointy shaped heads, poor bastards.

How does the Enterprise stop anyway? Reverse thrusters or gigantic Brembos?

Probably no cure in the 24 century because if you've seen Star Trek Nemesis even Picards clone is bald.
