For long movies, can I just use two discs with DVD Decrypter?

I have some movies that are 7 and 8 gigs. Can I just rip them in, and start burning? will the Decryper split it into two equal parts? I can't use IFOEdit, cause I'm running XP...

    No
You have to split the disc using IFOedit which runs fine on XP.

Or you can use DVD2one to compress them to one disc if you want

Just use DVDXCOPY it splits the movie automatically and puts it on 2 disks. It is so simple you won't believe it.

ok, so I ripped it in with smart ripper, and loaded IFOedit, and now it won't let me assign the 2nd dest. directory when I'm ready to burn. what am I doing wrong? I opened the specified file... ect..
