I cant figre out how to ftp into my xbox, i got the setup like this: the ethernet card 10/100 from my computer to xbox using ethernet cable then my internet is through usb. I dont know how to configure my network card. Thanks for any help
First of all it doesn't matter what you use to connect to the internet..Make sure your CAT-5 cable is a crossover cable to connecte directly to ur xbox, or normal CAT-5 is connected to a router then to xbox.Go to Network Connections and right-click NIC,goto>Properties>Internet_Protrocol>Properties..Then make sure you click USe the following Ip address...configure it to 192.168.1.1.SUbnet mask..255.255.255.0.. Using ur dashboard ini file make sure you have FTP enable.If using evox.Default Pass/user:xbox. In ini go to [NETWORK]configure like.... SetupNetwork = Yes StaticIP = Yes Ip = 192.168.1.2 Subnetmask = 255.255.255.0 Defaultgateway = 192.168.1.1 DNS1 = 0.0.0.0 DNS2 = 0.0.0.0 SkipIfNoLink = No SetupDelay = 10 ***************************************** p.s. you need to have a mod chip or one of Audio/Font Xploit's installed on ur system.
