Hi guys - I'm new to this so you'll need to bear with me.

I've copied films in Movie Only mode with success. But when I try to go into full movie mode, it keeps telling me that.... VIDEO_TSVIDEO_TS.IFO'. is missing. If I go back to Movie Only, it works a treat!

I'm using DVD Decrypter to decode the movie first.

    Any suggestions please ?

Well when you rip it with decrypter are those files in your folder?

Are you selecting all files in decrypter?

    Yes as ABMone stated....

Looks like you may have been ripping in File mode with 'select movie only' selected......

Just to be sure, when you open up Dvd Decrypter (with a dvd in) are there files highlighted in blue 1x ifo and 4 or 5 vobs.......?

If so then Dvd Decrypter is set for select movie files......

No worries, just hit CTRL + A (same time) and ALL of the files should then be highlighted in blue, then just hit the go button to rip as normal....

Dvd2one should then accept the folder to make a full disc compression......

You can make Dvd Decrypter select 'no files or all' in file mode if you prefer to select them manually....

Goto Tools/Settings/File mode and On startup - alter as required.......

    Hope this helps.....

Thanks to all of you - the copies are backing up great now - all part of the learning curve I suppose.

    No worries........we all started somewhere......

You'll probably find if you do 'full disc' or 'movie only'......then those 2 modes of operation are all you will use in Dvd Decrypter.......

Soon you will able to use it with your eyes closed.....LOL....

Glad we could help........[bold]Happy backing upping[/bold].......

Yup baabaa, when I first started my foray into backing up DVD's, I tried DVD Decrypter and DVD2One. It worked perfectly so I still use it now. In fact it's so easy, my two 11 yr old kids learned to do it merely from watching me a time or two.
