g4 powerbook

    I have powerbook g4 (silver with a grey trim, if that matters) and it wont charge, its not an issue with the charge and i believe it might be an issue with the wires on the mother board, can anyone advise me (detailed as i cant afford to mess up) on how i might go about fixing it.

    Any help will be very appreciated.

    it could be the battery. there was a bettery recall. go to apples web dite and check if yours is under it.

    No its not the battery, because i have putt the battery in a friends laptop, charged it then used it in mine again

    well i would try a charger you know is good. if that dont work it could be the DC-in board
