I have just backed up one of my original games. Transfering the files off my hd on the xbox creating an image and then burning with alchol 120. My xbox is not recognising the disc. Am i supposed to transfer from the original disc to my pc from the xbox or dosent it make a difference. Any ideas on where im going wrong would be appreciated. thanks
What program are u using to load the games to your xbox hard drive. If you are using dvd2xbox make sure in the setting of this program that "enable RN deletion in ACL file" is set to NO! If you do not use dvd2xbox then it may be either a blank media problem, program fault or the way u make the ISO. I personally rip the original straight to the PC then use ISO Maker v2.0 to create the ISO and recordnow max v 4.5 to burn (image only) not data.
