it could be the media you used, my copy works just fine.
I used DVD Decrypter to copy on a Phillips DVD-R 8x disc

Its probably your media or burn speed
    Burn at 2x (max)

    I use Verbatim and Fujifilm.

Just look at the sig :)

    Good luck

My copy of socom 2 and brothers in arms works fine to. Go to staples and for 5 bucks you can get 20 Teon DVD+R 8x blank DVD's. Then burn the game with dvd decrypter at max speed, and you will have no problems. These dvd's are cheap and work great. Try this and you should have no problem.

Can you get those discs online or does it have to be from the shop, because I cant find them on their site?

And for that price they are worth a bash!

I looked for those dvd-r's ended up with maxell 4x dvd-r's, I burned it at 2x and now both socom 2 and brothers in arms work perfect.

HAS ANY1 BACKED UP THIS GAME USING A PIONEER 108 AND RITEK GO5 MEDIA.

OH I CANT UNDERSTAND ALL THIS MESSING ABOUT WITH BURN SPEEDS.
I USE THE BURNER AND MEDIA ABOVE AND NORMALY BURN AT 8X OR EVEN 12X, WITH NO PROBLEMS.

HAVNT GOT BROTHERS IN ARMS YET, JUST DOING THE ROUNDS TO SEE WHAT OTHERS HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING.
