Is there such a thing as DVD-R media limiting how slow you can burn it? This is probly a real stupid ? but I only ask cause I saw this in the initial screen of Dvd dcrypter in ISO write mode:
    Disc Information:
    Status: Empty
    Erasable: No
    Free Sectors: 2,297,888
    Free Space: 4,706,074,624 bytes
    Free Time: 510:40:38 (MM:SS:FF)
    [bold]Supported Write Speeds: 4x, 6x, 8x[/bold]
    Supported Write Speeds: 4x, 6x, 8x??????????
Can I still write at 1x or am I forced to write at 4x cause of the disk?
    Thanx ahead of time.

Yep, 4x is probably the slowest you can burn. You can set DVD decypter to 1x, but it will still burn at the lowest setting that your media/burner supports.

how can i tell if it's the media or the burner??? Is there a way to check both for their own respective minimums??? [bold]OR[/bold]Can some one tell me what the first screen in DVD Dcrypter once youve loaded your blank media in ISO Write mode is refering to when it says this:
    Status: Empty
    Erasable: No
    Free Sectors: 2,297,888
    Free Space: 4,706,074,624 bytes
    Free Time: 510:40:38 (MM:SS:FF)
    [bold]Supported Write Speeds: 4x, 6x, 8x[/bold]
Is this the media of the burner it's refering to????
    Thanx again for the support.
