How do i play GameCube Backups on my modded Wii "WiiKey"?
Dum Question!! I know
Explains it all
When I Launch WiiUI.exe an Error popped up
"Component 'Comdlg32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"
Dont know the problem???
Google the error message, all it means is that you have an option somewhere to not save logs....at least that what I read up on.
You end up installing something in you System32 folder. I did it then ran WiiUI just fine.
Ok got it to work just needed to download "Comdlg32.ocx" file but anyways ....I have a <USA Wii> GameCube Mario Kart DD is EUR...I just convert it to USA by!
Going to the Tools menu, then to “GCOS Disc Creator.”
and Select my ISO Region i want or it has to be EUR....
Point Blank! I just want to turn this EUR GameCube Game to USA and burn it...?
Plus I just want to put 1 GameCube game so i burn it on a cd and it does ent loadup!
Do I Put The GameCube Backup In The Wii And Then Ill Load or
I Load The WiiKey Config DVD Then Load GCOSMB and then Put The GameCube Mario Kart DD CD-R In It
I Burned On a CD-R
You can not use a CD-R as a backup you will need to use a DVD.
You don't turn the GC disc into another region. GCoS will have the option to force the game into another region.
So all you need to do is burn the image to DVD and then GCoS should launch letting you choose Mario Kart and then giving you the option to force the game disc into a different region.
There is no need to use the Wiikey disc to start GCoS if you already have created the game disc with GCoS already on it.
But you need to use a DVD not a CD-R.
There also could be a problem with the ISO file itself. In order for you to have fit the Mario Kart onto a CD the image would of had to be shrunk. (The Dummy file was deleted from the actual image file leaving only the game data)
You might need to get a program to build the image back to the proper size.
