i like 1st person shotter game on pc, like Call Of Duty (all) Battlifed (all) I played them using my mouse and keyboard. yeah it will work since it clearly says for pc, i play bf2 and i seriously don't recommend it for shooting games it would b better for games like need for speed and such but for shooting games its not worth it
I own a USB Xbox 360 controller and I really enjoy using it for PC games. Generally, I think Battlefield has too many buttons to press for a gamepad, but I think that if you were to get a pad a 360 controller would be something to consider. Plus, you end up with a spare 360 controller if you ever get one.=D

the gamepads are noce and work well for a lot of sports or racing games. But i have had bad luck using them for shooters. I have the exact pad you listed above, but without the rumble. I tried configuring it to work with Half-Life 2 EP 1 and had no luck. Just too many keys for a shooter game. That and could never get the walk/look axis set right no matter how hard i tried. I finally invested in this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823161019 and it works well, plus has quite a few games auto programed in.
