Hi, I have a few questions about playing Original Xbox games on Xbox 360 :

    1. If there is a game backward compatible for Xbox 360 on the list and I play the NTSC/U version of it on a PAL console (non-modded) will it work? Because when I tried it, it just said "This Xbox Game is not backward compatible" (By the way, the game I was trying to play isn't on the list yet and it is a REAL copy).

    2. If I do the same thing, but with a backup copy and if it's backward compatible (on a non-modded console)...will it work?
Even if I patch it with the SS File?

    3. If it does work, can I get banned from Xbox Live if I am caught online with a backup copy? Or does it only matter if the console has been modified?

    4. If I try to play a region free backup Xbox 360 game on my PAL console (non-modded)...will it work?

If you can answer these questions, that'd be kool.

First of all, you need to mod your console to play any type of backup.

Original xbox games must be backed-up with xbc and be on the compatibility list to be able to play them.

    So, to answer your questions:

    1.no
    2.no
    3.use at your own risk
    4.no

you must mod to do anything you mention.
