genuine validation

    hi ive got the genuine notifaction tool installed on my pc is there any way to remove this it came with a update i downloded now i cant delete it or do a restore b4 it was installed ive got an icon in tray and windows genuine notifaction tool kb905474 in my add remove programs but cant delete it is there any way to get rid of it thanx
