    Hi All,
I virtualy only started looking into Modding my PS2 Slim today so I'm very unsure of all the lingo you use on the site. I have had a MODBO chip for about two years now, and am having trouble with reading copied games after a while. What could the case of the problem be? I look after the disks and they seem to be in good working order.

Can I also ask if someone can explain in detail what other Mods I can add to my PS2.
    Any help will be appreciated.

I dont know if it will make a difference, but I'm based in South Africa

If your having trouble reading discs, but they worked at one time, you could try cleaning your laser.

With a Modbo, you can install fmcb 1.8 to memory card, and you can load games from USB drive using OPL v.8 (Open PS2 loader)

Just do a search for OPen Ps2 Loader in this forum , or check out psx-scene for it.

It is the home of fmcb 1.8 as well.

Your welcome. A good way to start with some terms is too either search more here on the forums or google the terms your not sure of.
