I have gone through and read some of the threads on getting swapmagic to work on my ps2. I came across the tape method. Can someone please expliane this in more detail or point me in the right direction. It would be really appreciated.

The tape mod is not a good idea; especially since there are some pretty inexpensive, and cool looking, case mods available. If you don't want to dismantle your rig though, try going with a magic switch. They work and they cost about $3.00.
