Hey guys I have been getting lots of help from you guys on these forums and I just wanted to say thanks! I have another problem if anyone is willing to help. I am using flash fxp to transfer roms over to my xbox. The problem is (and this has happened over and over and over) when I drag and drop the rom from the left side to the right side the file will start to transfer and the little yellow bar on the bottom of the screen will start to go up. Then when the transfer gets to be like 20% finish then the spot where it says kbps or sumthin like that drops to zero and then it doesn't move. I am then left with only part of the file on my xbox. How do I fix this?

It will most likely a cable issue, try another cable!

Have you got enough space on the destination HDD?

Well I do have a standard hdd but I only have 3 roms. One for sega and 2 for n64. I thought because they were stored on the E drive the roms wouldn't take up very much space.

    Well how big are they?

The partitions will only have about 4Gb of free space.

    Check the cable!

Which dashboard are you using? Make sure your settings are correct!

Ethernet cable. If it's a homemade job, there may be crosstalk at the connectors!

    Try another ethernet cable!

sounds like one is going and the others not... filename issue..

rename the roms so they have no (!)[]{},"'@~ and any whitespace in them.. they also must not be more than 24 characters.. including any spaces.

I had an ftp filename issue in the past with mp3 files. Long named files would not transfer...a little editing and all transferred fine. Silly simple xbox.
