Thanks, I got the RecordNowMax, and it's not compatible with my recorder LG-4040B
I need to burn a variety of files, the latest now being iso, I think Nero might do it. I also got the latest driver but the RecordNow site shows that my burner is not compatible either. What's another good progy for me to burn my downloaded ps2 dvd's. A no brainer would be nice. TIA!!!!!!!!!!

updating the PX engine in record now max... works everytime if the record now dosent detect the dvd... and to burn gi try making them into iso... or burning with dvd decrypter....

Umm... if you have a *.gi file, and you assume it's for the PS2, but you don't know what to do with it...

Wonder if Oner can see this thread...

probably being flamed cause you have a file that 'you' backed up but dont know how to burn it?

that and the fact that there's about 3 of these topics in the first 2 pages.

why not to join all those .gi files to one big .iso file? :D
then you can burn that .iso with DvdDecrypter, Nero...

    you have rename
    image(11).gi = image1.gi
    image(12).gi = image2.gi
    image(13).gi = image3.gi
    and so on.....

then open command prompt and go to folder where you have .gi files. Then just type:

    copy /b image1.gi+image2.gi+image3.gi image.iso

...just forget that tiny .gi file (2kt) you don't need that.

    Enjoy!!

I've downloaded the Invfx version (PAL) and used the PS2chimps patch to make it NTSC, but i included the tiny .gi file, then used gi2iso and burned the iso, but it didn't work. I'm again downloading the same stuff just to not include the tiny file, what's for this file??
