gif files

    I have received some photographs attached to an email message and the files all have .gif at the end of their names. When I double click on these nothing appears. Do I need some special software to view the photographs and if so what is the easiest way to get it?

    Download Irfan View -- it's Free -- your files may have been corrupted -- IrfanView will open them and in most case will correct the error.
