    Hey afterdawners!

A quick and simple question which I hope won't give me a too complicated answer...

I've finally run out of my miniDV cassettes, so I need to get the date on to my PC, and then to DVD. I was curious to know the following...

What is the best (or simplest might be better) software to use to transfer the data to my PC, that will also allow me to cut/edit video stuff that I don't want to keep? I'm using firewire for the data transfer...

Will the same software allow me to burn as well, to DVD? Or is there more involved with other programs?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Simple stuff would be Ulead movie factory 2 (or 3).
    Nerovision Express 2 or 3.
Even Windows Movie Maker, providing you save it as DV-AVI and NOT .wmv
Edit and Author as you like in any editor. The top 2 above will work for most stuff.
    Burn.
