if your using an original, you have to put the chip in sleep mode. if your using a backup, you have to patch the backup with the dnas id from the original.

I have your same setup, with the infinity. Do a little research on the forum about patching the disc id and what not. It takes a little leg work, but it does work.

Like I said, so some research using the search utility on these forums, and go http://www.ps2nfo.com, cause all the information is there.

You get a better sense of accomplishment if you find the info yourself rather than someone holding your hand. It's not that tough.

Sly thanks for your help. H8tred thanks for contributing absolutely nothing. I have accomplished many things in my life that I consider monumental; I don't think doing a search would provide me with a sense of acomplishement. If you can't assist; then don't post.

When people ask the same basic questions over and over in a forum, and don't do a search for the answer before asking, people who really know their stuff tend to stop answering questions. I've asked questions, but I try to find the answer first, so at least I'm going in with a little knowledge, trying to get a few things cleared up. I wasn't trying to talk down to you or berate you. I was trying to give you a starting point so you could then find other answers in the future that have already been covered in great length.
