good flight combat game?

does anyone know of good modern style flight combat game?

 

How recent are you looking at? Because the best modern flight combat sim is still F-16 Falcon: Allied Assult, IMHO. It is couple of years old.

 

An old classic, Jane's Fighters Anthology, still can play on several online sites as well.

 

i guess i should have been more spasific when i say modern i ment jets not some kind of wwii game of something like that. althoughth i would like a game thats fairly new. i'll give this game a shot.

 

Fighters anthology has only a couple of piston/prop planes, the rest are fighter jets from the 60's to present day and beyond.
