    Cheers mate,

Does the buffer size make any difference to performance when hooked up to the PS2?

    Ta,

Not really sure about buffer sizes, both my drives have an 8MB cache/buffer, dont really think buffer makes a difference to performance tho. but 7200rpm will load games faster than 4200rpm, if ya know what i mean =)

The buffer size is related to the rpm of the drive. Bigger buffer faster RPM. *mb buffer is 7200 rpm. Go for that.
