    Hi,

I was using Bittorrent 3.4.2 and now i have changed to Bittornado 0.3.7

I decided to chnage as i was not getting any decent download speeds. I was roughly getting a 0-15kB/s download rate on Bittorrent 3.4.2

Now i am using Bittornado 0.3.7, i am still getting a download rate of 0-15kB/s. In some occasion's, it goes above this but never above 20kB/s.

My upload rate vary's from 0-25kB/s, and somtimes goes higher then this.

I have read alot posts in this forum and others and still need some help.

[bold]What can i do to speed it up?[/bold]

I am using a linksy wireless-G router and a binatone adsl 2100 modem.

    I have a 1mb broadband internet connection.

I have no firewall up, and the little colour cirle indicater on bittornado never chages to green. It always stays yellow. This indicates there is a firewall up, but im am sure nothing is up and i have checked many times. I am using Windows XP Sp 1.

Can you also please help me out on this?

Finaly if you can tell me about these ports that i need to open. If i open these ports on the router, do i need to set the exact same ports in bittornado or do i leave them as random in bittornado which is 60000-10000?

Also if there are any specific settings i need to set bittornado to, can you please tell me?

    PLease help.

    Thanks

    Vidur
