I bought 100 GQ DVDs a couple of weeks ago, for an after-rebate price of $19, making my cost $0.19 per DVD. They aren't worth that much. After burning through over 20 of them using various software, not a single one has burned successfully all the way to the end and then been playable all the way to the end. I've used products from other manufacturers with no problem - Sony, Fuji, Memorex. These DVDs have SERIOUS quality control problems. They seem to be usable near the center of the DVD, but about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way out, they just break down completely. I may be able to get some use out of them to backup small amounts of data, though I'm not sure I trust them even for that. Bottom line, stay away from this brand. "GQ" stands for Garbage Quality in my book.
