Green blue and red jacks on dvd player.

    I have a DVD player that has those color for rca jacks to go out. I also have them on the tv to come in. what are they for and what are they called?

    true that. much better than component cables (the standard Yellow, White, Red)

    Does it really make that big of a difference if I use those instead of the regular yellow white and red ones??

    depends on your TV/set but yes you can tell a difference. its worth the extra few bucks to get the component cables
