this is for all the people thats having a hard time backing up a wii backup there's 2 way i use ImgBurn and Alcohol 120%

    --ImgBurn --
    open ImgBurn
    [IMG]

go to mode and then select read
    [IMG]

go to sourc pick ur dvd drive n then ur destinationu u want to save the image to
    [IMG]

ok now that u have the image file go to mode and then select write
in source find where u save ur image and write speed is up to u (i burn @ 4x 6x 8x)

    --Alcohol 120%--
    open Alcohol select copy wizard
    [IMG]

select dvd device where ur wii game is in click next
    [IMG]

u can name ur image file if u want then click next
    [IMG]

select dvd device where ur dvd r is n the speed u want to burn at click delete image file after recording if u do not want the image of the game click start

lol, the funny thing is people actually can't do this on their own. Props to you for doing this though, not knocking you at all. Hopefully this will cut out the how to backup a backup questions asked numerously on here.

Thinone failed a PR course, and is still bitter. His hate is a burning torch that showers all in love. Hating love. Love of a fist. Anger... but the loving kind of anger.

The process is straight forward but the ISO file that I create is too large to burn. I tried Imgburn and isowrite and get the same results.

    The image size is 4,707,319,808
    Disk available space is 4,706,729,984

Has anyone else had this problem? Is it hardware related?

I also have problems reading some backups when trying to generate the iso. I have tried about 6 backups and only 3 could be read (all work in the Wii), again I suspect hardware but am looking for some validation before I buy another drive.

    Thanx
