there r some things floating in my head that i wanna share
but since i don't have a ps3 ,someone else might like to try it

1.find out who manufactured the BRD ps3 drive and read its firmware from fedora then flash it to the drive's sata or ide brother and try them on your computer ,see if u can read the bluray game that way

2.if someone could try usb advance on the ps3 and see if its capable of using an exteral hd to play ps2 games

3.the rest of my stuff is doubts about the exploit paradox is using or how they run the loader
will add later,as now i have no time

Here are my thoughts on hacking the PS3:

1.Modify the casing of the PS3 to work just like the PS2 fliptop cover.
2.Swap Magic works, but as mentioned it needs a way to trick the system.(with a rebuilt fliptop cover for the PS3 you can play your back ups)
3.A boot disc could be made to use the same procedure as the Swap Magic discs.(meaning you burn your PS3 games on a Blu-Ray disc, and the Boot disc is pressed to meet the Blu-Ray game standards)

I never said it would be a cheap method, but I'm positive it would work. The good thing about this method is the fact it doesn't matter what firmware you use,as long as the boot discs work. Then again PS2 games are going to be using emulation on the PS3,so I can't say for sure if they all would work.PS3 games would work though, and that is the main goal.
