Hacking hard keys on Microsoft Internet Keyboard

    I want to hack the hard keys on a Microsoft Internet Keyboard like the back forward stop mail etc cause i don't use them, i'd rather have a mute/volume button

    I think it's possible, but by all means google isn't helping.

    So thanks in advance.

    okay i tried it but my computer froze (mouse moved but clicks and keyboard didn't respond) ctrl alt del worked but still couldn't use keyboard and mouse

    now when i press the hardkeys at the top the same thing would happen
