hi all im new to osx like you wouldnt believe. i was wondering if anyone had managed to use carbon copy cloner to install osx 10.6.1 on to another system windows based of course.

my thinking came about because i am running my osx in vmware which is all good but i want to be able to have a dual boot system between windows 7 and snow leopard i think this should work though, carbon copy cloner makes a bootable image of your system so you can upgrade to a larger hard drive or to restore to a new one. i know i need to do a proper hackintosh install first to one of my computers but after that i think a drive image would make it easier to set up on others maybe i could even have a dual boot drive image which again would save time.

im thinking this would be an easier way to install osx on to many computers i have 6 laptops a desktop and a pair of netbooks im also looking at a little nettop for my home therter set up

anyway any opinions or thoughts maybe even stories about your own ideas for this would be appreciated, i will post my results on this thread when i get around to it be the good or bad.

    peace

Currently am running 99% Vanilla install through DSDT on my Gigabyte P35-DS3R, took awhile to get my head around DSDT editing but in the end it worked well, so well i haven't needed to boot into Windows 7 at all.
    Lovin my Hackintosh.
