I downloaded a video off a newsgroup that I belong to. I noticed that in windows media player, the picture fills about half the available space for the picture. I found out that the file is in half D1 format (352x480)(NTSC). I burned it to DVD using Nero express and the quality of the pictured on the burned dvd really suffered. I was hoping to have the picture as good as the picture is in the computer during playback. Is there anything that I could do, convert, etc., to have the quality on the burned dvd about the same (if not the same) as the playback quality of the video file when played in the computer?

What type of file was it? What options did you use in Nero Express?

Did you look at using NeroVision to make the DVD?
