Half Life 2 Sound Messed Up...

its weird when i look at someone whos talking u can barley hear him, but when i turn around opisit direction of that person i can hear him fine. its retarted but thats the case any ideas?

 

I dunno how to fix but i do know many many people are having problems with half life 2. many different things are messed up.Just wait for the patch comming out for it, it suppose to fix alot of things in the game.

Strange. I'm playing HL2 downloaded from Steam & when I'm talking to someone I can only really hear them if I'm looking straight at them. If I try to mooch around the room the volume drops down and out, even though I've not actually moved. Opposite to your thing, eh?

wat sound card are u using? if u have a 2.1 speaker and a 5.1 soundcard like wat i am using...go to the option and change the sound option to 2 speakers.
i solve it just like that.
