Ok I was using a 40 gig hard drive to keep my games on with hd advance and decided I wanted to go a little larger so I bought a 200gb. Well I have a usb 2.0 ide adapter and was wondering how I can get my pc to read the harddrive? When I hook it up windows xp finds the harddrive but I cant figure out where to access it from. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks Jay.

you have to format it in the PC to be able to read it in windows XP

which would also mean that all the data that was previously on it would be gone

If you are worried about losing your old games, you can use winhiip to transfer data from one hd to another. You need a computer that is able to hold 3 harddrives though. Winhiip recognizes PS2 format hds, and will copy from one to the other.
