My hard drive (When looking under My Computer) is displaying that it has 20mb free and sometimes, no space free when it has just been formatted with a fresh install of XP.Any ideas? I have never heard of such a problem in all of my time with computers...

My Specs: OS: Windows XP Professional
    Cpu:Intel Dual Core 2.5 Ghz
    Ram: 1 Gb

It sounds like you either have a bad HDD or a bad Storage Controller.

How would I go about correcting this? I have checked the master/s;ave connections to be sure it wasn't a wiring issue. Thanks. :)

A bad hdd would mean that you need to replace the hard drive. As of the Storage Controller, I haven't seen an error with it in past experiences so I don't how to help you with that. Just get a small 10gb and try to install windows. If you still have the space problem then try figuring out how to fix the storage controller. I'd bet on the bad hdd.
