    Hello,
I just bought an adapter to hook up my old hard drives to get the valuable information off of it but when I hook up my old desktop hard drive it reads the drive as two seperate drives (I:\ and H:\)and says that it is not accessible when I try to search them. The cable has worked for other drives before and I have the drive set to master with the jumpers. Is there anything I can do to search through this Hard drive?

    Thanks,

I am using Windows XP and I believe it is in NFTS format. The drive was originally in a computer with Windows 98.
