I'm not sure if anyone can answer this but i'll give it a shot.... I have a laptop and every once and a while if I tilt the lid forward the screen goes blank. Everything is still running, the power is still on & harddrive... anyone have a idea why this is?

sounds like a loose connection, lap tops are notorious for the wiring having problems between the screen and the base. Your not suppose to have the lid sit back at a certain degree to keep it from effecting the connection, wires going between the two will become loose or crimped. SHouldn't be more then slightly beyond 90 degrees when open.

Not to sure why this one was posted in the DVDShrink forum, but anyway it could also just be a setting in your power features that says what to do when the lid is closed some are set to turn off the screen, others are set to hibernate and so on...
