I just purchased the Phillips dvd player that plays all formats. I was wondering how I would go about burning my avi files on my comp to a dvd. Do I burn them as data? Also what program would be the best for doing this?

I don't know that it plays ALL FORMATS. It does claim to play files that use MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 and DivX codecs. From the specs it is hard to tell if that applies to both CD's and DVD's. The only way to know for sure is to try. You might want to use RW disc's until you are sure.

Burn a data DVD. Most here use Nero.
