i figured it out i got the m8_16 bios on my xbox and i installed evox dash whoooo hoooo all i had to do was change my d drive with the one from my old xbox then it read the first disc i stuck in but now im having a problem i cant seem to ftp onto the xbox heres my shit PC IP 192.168.0.1 subnet mask 255.255.255.0 gateway blank xbox IP 192.168.0.2 subnet mask 255.255.255.0 gateway blank static ip yes im using a crossover cable not a router im not firewalled in any way and have no programs blocking me as far as i can tell and still i cant connect i keep getting 3 errors 1. connection failed 2. connection timed out 3. connection refused i have M8_16 for version 1.6 xbox and i have evolution x dashboard V+3935 anybody know what i did wrong
Well your first problem is that you need to set the default gateway on the xbox to your PCs IP address. It should work after that. Make sure you save your settings on your dash and then reboot the xbox before attempting to connect. Good Luck.
