    Hi,
I've looked through the forums, and I can't find my specific problem. I have a GeForce3 Ti200 AGP w/ 64 Meg. I am trying to play DVD's on my Lite-on DVD+/-RW (model: LDW 415S). When using either Power DVD or Windows Media Player 10, I get basically the same results, it will play the "Do not copy" warnings at the beginning of the Disc, then it gets real slow and choppy. By the time it gets to the menu, it just completely locks up.

Does anyone out there have any ideas?

    Thanks for your help,
    Josh

Problem is very symptomatic of poor quality media - what brand are you using? Also are you using labels on your DVDs? Problems mentioned are very symptomatic of DVD labels. The glue degrades over time causing heat problems and unbalanced disks - leading to freezing/playback problems.

I am using store bought DVDs, these are not home burned. One of them in particular doesn't even have a label. The info is printed right onto the disc.

You might not have all the proper codecs
