I wanna get an image file for my c&c3 tiberium wars. I bought the actual game, i just don't wanna take my cd out every time i wanna play. According to stuff i have read online, the most recent patch of c&c 3 has made most of the image files not work. Do any of you know were i can get one. I DONT WANT A FIXED EXE, just an image file.
Thx for anyone who helps me.

You could try the program Gamejackal.
Great wee program that lets you play all your games without the disk.
You only have to put the disk in once & Gamejackal creates an image.

Gamejackal is a good program, and will make it where you dont
have to insert the disc to play.
Its made by Slydoft the same people that make anydvd clonedvd ect..

However if you want to make an image that is a 1:1 copy,
I will post how to do that here.

The problem is games have more encryption's and protections on them than commercial DVD movies and the like.
Since they don't have to operated on stand alone machines,
They can use better encryption methods, to deter people
from trying to copy/pirate there software,

Normally one of the disks has uber encryption on it, and had to be inserted for the game to play, Just to verify that you own the original.

Just like I said there are protections on the disc,

A run of a r'ay -scanner' on the original can and will determine
    the protections on the disc.

You can then rip and burn using the protection settings detected,
Under Alcohol 120% to burn (selecing the noted protections.).

This will copy the protections also, and make a exact 1:1 backup.
That will work just as your original.
