having trouble with backups

    i folled the tutorial using flashfxp and quix and when i burn the iso file then load it into the xbox it says it is a data disc and wont play? any help would be greatful

    So you are burning it wrong!!.. burn the xiso as a saved image/disk image..nero, alcohol120, decrypter, imgeburn, k3b, gnomebaker, cdrecord.. all will do that... Don't just copy the iso file on to the disk.

    There are two ways to do it.

    #1--Double click the ISO file from windows explorer or whatever and it will load the associated program and then burn the image as a disk.

    #2---Open the burn program you are using go to burn disk or burn disk from image(NOT and I repeat NOT data disk or anything like that) You want to burn the ISO as an image or whole disk or whatever terminology your burning program uses.

    DON'T under any circumstances DRAG-AND-DROP the file, that's just making a data disk.

    I'm pretyy sure the FAQ you are using tells you that as well.

    im using nero 8 so when i make a backup i use dvdudf/iso mode or whatever

    Oh damn.. nero 8.. I have seen it screw up xiso's fine style.. Use imgburn
